2S4U Kazan's sketch 29

Another great bit of inspiration from the lovely 2S4U site. This week the sketch is by Kazan. I used Stampin Up papers, cardstock and ribbon. Cricut Storybook cartridge to cut flower and Stampin up scalloped punch. The card is for my Mother in laws' Birthday.

2S4U Laura's Sketch #28

Another great sketch from the 2S4U was just right for a Father's Day card for my lovely Dad. This site really has the best sketches, ones that I know I'll use again and again.

I used cordinations blue card stock, Basic Grey Archaic papers, stampin up stamp, punches and ribbon. Dad cut with Cricut Storybook.

More inspiration from 2S4U

This is my attempt at this week's 2S4U sketch by Kazan. Not my usual pretty pink or cute chipboard. I was inspired by the design teams creations using Teresa Collins papers to make this card for a young friend of mine. I'm pleased with the outcome although it's by no means up to the standard of the stunning design team.

At last I've finished!

I have been making this album since late last year, it is a very belated gift for the lovely Beki and Nathan who got married in February 2008. I don't know why it has taken so long, other than needing a new printer and a serious lack of mojo. I'm please that it is finally finish, fingers crossed that they will like it.

I used a Making Memories Noteworthy post bound album but replaced the posts with Tim Holtz D Book Rings to allow more space. All the papers are K & Co Blue Awning, Bazzill Bling Cardstock. K&Co rubons, Kaiser craft gems and pearls, Alphas and die cuts cut using Cricut Story Book cartridge.

Inspiration strikes! 1st Annual 2 Sketches 4 You Ultimate Card Showdown

Well it's taken this fantastic challenge on the 2s4y card site to get me to up date my blog. I have been crafting but never seem to have time to blog, really must try harder! The sketch is by Laura and I love how one simple sketch can kick off so many great cards. Here's my effort 1st Annual 2 Sketches 4 You Ultimate Card Showdown for the although I think I'll be using this sketch over and over.

Bits and pieces

Here are a few more projects that I have completed in the past couple of weeks. I seem to have made more cards than scrapbook layouts but there are a few of both to post. I'm still hooked on using my cuttlebug with the coredinations cardstock, so I have put the bug away and intend to do some scrapping this weekend.

Playing with my cuttlebug

These are some of the simple Christmas cards that I have made over the past couple of days using my cuttlebug and some coredinations cardstock. I love the effect that the coredinations allows when used with the embossing folders.
